Student Transportation Services of York Region

During July and August of each year , Student Transportation Services works to revise applicable bus route schedules to accomodate new students and/or new school openings . As a result some students may experience minor changes in their bus route schedule. If you wish to reconfirm bus stop service for September , please access this website the third week of August .

September Bus Transportation Notice

Student Transportation Services (STS) is a collaborative venture of the York Catholic District School Board and the York Region District School Board. STS was formed in 1994 and works to reduce the overall cost of transportation while at the same time maintaining safe ,secure,efficient and dependable level of service . All school buses operate routes designed and supervised by STS. The operation of all school buses is contracted to private companies.

Each August and September, Student Transportation Services of York Region and School Bus Contractors servicing our schools, present First Time School Bus Rider Safety Events.

	All YCDSB and YRDSB students in grades JK-3 who live within 1.2 km of their school are not eligible for transportation.
	All YCDSB and YRDSB students in grades 4-8 who live within 1.6 km of their school are not eligible for transportation.
	All YCDSB in grades 9-12 who live within 4.8 km of their school in a transit served area are not eligible for transportation. Students living in a non-transit served area are eligible for transportation if they live farther than 3.2 KM from their school
	All YRDSB students in grades 9-12 who live within a transit served area are not eligible for transportation. Students living in a non-transit served area are eligible for transportation if they live farther than 3.2 KM from their school.
