	All YCDSB and YRDSB students in grades JK-3 who live within 1.2 km of their school are not eligible for transportation.
	All YCDSB and YRDSB students in grades 4-8 who live within 1.6 km of their school are not eligible for transportation.
	All YCDSB in grades 9-12 who live within 4.8 km of their school in a transit served area are not eligible for transportation. Students living in a non-transit served area are eligible for transportation if they live farther than 3.2 KM from their school
	All YRDSB students in grades 9-12 who live within a transit served area are not eligible for transportation. Students living in a non-transit served area are eligible for transportation if they live farther than 3.2 KM from their school.
	The distance is measured from the end of any driveway or front walkway, via the shortest distance to the closest access point of the school property, not to the front doors of the school. Measurements are conducted using GIS software and confirmed via air photos or site visits as determined necessary by STS. Walkways that would shorten the distance are also considered.
	Please note that other systems such as Mapquest or Google Maps are not reliable as these systems use both address interpellations and distance rounding of 100m. Similarly measurements by car vary by vehicle and are less accurate than GIS technology utilizing parcel fabrics and air photo verification.

Personal student information is collected and used pursuant to the Education Act, section 190 and will be used to manage appropriate transportation as required by your child(ren).Please contact Student Transportation Services at 1-877-330-3001 for more information.

REGULAR,GIFTED AND FRENCH IMMERSION TRANSPORTATION

Please note that if your child is registered at the school and is eligible for transportation no additional registration is required to ride the school bus

For students requiring transportation to an overflow school or for those receiving grandfathered service , please contact the school your child will be attending to confirm bussing information.

For transportation inquiries for students enrolled in a Regular, Gifted or French Immersion Class/Program please click the Mapnetweb link below . You can enter your street number , street name and select your school to get transportation information. Please proceed to the bus stop location 5 minutes prior to the listed time.

MapNet Transportation software assigns students to the closest stop based on each individual address.
Please note that if your child is registered at the school and is eligible for transportation no additional registration is required to ride the school bus.

If your child is transported from more than one address location, for daycare or other reasons, you must perform a search for each address.
